KLIFE works with kids from Fort Worth and neighboring communities starting in the 5th grade and going all the way through the 12th grade. Through a variety of activities ( Small Group Bible Studies, Super K, KLUB, K-EQUIP, and other monthly events ), KLIFE students grow in their faith and have lots of fun in the process. They learn that following Christ and discovering His plan for their life is the most exciting adventure of all and that they can count on friendship and support from leaders and peers who care. Small Groups The heart of our ministry is Small Groups . In the 7th grade*, students have the opportunity to join small groups for the first time. These groups are broken up by gender and grade. Each group goes through an age appropriate lesson where they dive into God’s Word and learn more about our Savior and what His plan is for us. Small groups happen once a week and vary on date and time depending on kids and leaders schedules. Each small group has one or two KLIFE volunteers, college age or older, who has gone through an extensive interview process with a staff member. All of our leaders have been background checked and have signed a commitment to follow Christ in their own life. *In the 2023-2024 school year we will be starting small groups in the 6th grade. Super K Super K is for current 4th and 5th grade students with a desire to learn about Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him. Our time is packed full of fun games, great teaching, and deep conversations in small groups. We are so thankful to have current TCU students helping us lead your students. Our desire is to see your students surrendered to Jesus, and what better way to do that than through a fun, safe environment in which the Gospel is laid out before them. Super K is every Monday at the KLIFE house from 4:00-5:15pm Middle School KLUB KLUB happens bi-monthly at the KLIFE house for 6th-8th graders. Our time together at KLUB includes skits, fun games, and great teaching. Our hope is that KLUB will give your middle schooler a fun opportunity while deepening their faith in Jesus. Events Events are another great way we introduce students to KLIFE. Some of our favorite Events include: Our annual Dodgeball Tournament, Progressive Riot, Clay Shoots, Holiday Parties, Silent Discos, and Camp Retreats. Events are a perfect place to bring a friend and to have a blast! Why KLIFE? For every 10 Christian’s who step foot on a college campus, only 2 walk-off still professing to believe in Jesus. The overwhelming common denominator for the 2 out of 10 is that they had someone intentionally invest in them during their teenage years; someone like a KLIFE small group leader. This is a statistic that doesn’t sit well with us. Teenagers are walking onto college campuses ill-prepared to defend their faith. When a college student or young adult shares their life with a teenager and transfers spiritual truths and life experiences they are far more likely to continue walking with Jesus through college.
